Hi! I\u2019m Po Yee, the cake artist behind Vichinoise Cakes. I was born and raised in San Francisco. A few years after graduating from university, I had an itch to live abroad, and for eleven years, I called London my home. Nowadays, I am based in Les Clayes-sous-Bois nearby one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Paris.<\/p>\n

After working in financial services for over a decade, I felt that I needed a change. While planning for my own wedding, I was captivated by the beauty and elegance of wedding cakes that I saw. Since I\u2019ve always been the creative type, I decided that a suitable career change would be to become a cake designer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

I attended my first cake decorating course in the U.K. in 2017. After completing numerous other cake decorating courses in the U.K. and a pastry certificate in France, I was ready to launch my own cake company. In 2021, I had achieved my goal: Vichinoise Cakes was born.<\/p>\n

Creating unique works of art for my clients' special occasions gives me immense satisfaction. My cake decorating journey is one that I'm extremely passionate about, and I look forward to sharing it with you!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
